The PPMA 2017 Exhibition takes place this month commencing on Tuesday 26th September and finishes on Thursday 28th of September. The show takes place each year at the NEC, Birmingham.  Holmach is running full steam ahead to prepare for this year’s show.

The PPMA exhibition is hugely important to our business. The show provides us with the opportunity to catch up with old friends in the industry, as well as making some new friends too. We always look forward to showcasing what we do.

Come along to our Stand C30 in Hall 5 and see some of the latest thermal processing technology which is currently being used by leading food and drink manufacturers in the UK and Ireland.

This year we will be showcasing the following food processing equipment on our stand: -

  • The new Lagarde Pilot Retort is great for customers looking to test and launch new products. Ideal for pasteurising and sterilising a range of food products as well as “slow cooking” meats for “pulling”. The machine will be available to rent after the show.
     
  • Revtech will be showing a demonstration unit for heat treatment solutions to sterilise dry ingredients such as nuts, seeds, barley, herbs, spices and flour to name a few. Roasting and toasting is also possible at the same time to add flavour and colour. Recent applications include malting Barley and pasteurising Marigold heads!
     
  • Terlet will be exhibiting a new generation Terlotherm scraped surface heat exchanger which provides rapid heating for sauces, soups and fruit preparations without steam injection and hyper chilling for all kinds of products including dairy sauces. Typical results are less than 90 seconds to give a temperature change of 85°C. In all cases optimum heat transfer is achieved.
