Holmach Gears Up for PPMA 2024: Optimising Production, Minimising Waste, and Embracing Future Trends
12.07.2024

In today's competitive landscape, manufacturers face mounting pressure from rising costs, high consumer expectations, government guidelines and environmental concerns. This year Holmach returns to the PPMA Show 2024 with a clear mission: empowering manufacturers to achieve more with less. Our process expertise and technology solutions address these challenges head-on, helping manufacturers extend product shelf-life and improve product quality, whilst minimising unit costs and meeting ambitious sustainability targets.

On Stand C30, we will be showcasing our sustainable market-leading technology, whilst supporting visitors with their knowledge and expertise to navigate the ever-changing manufacturing landscape. Christopher Holland, Managing Director of Holmach talks about the key trends that are expected to dominate the discussions at this year’s show “

“At PPMA 2024, we expect to see a strong focus on trends that empower manufacturers to be more efficient and meet evolving retailer and consumer demands. This includes a surge in shelf-stable ambient products, allowing for wider retail distribution and reduced costs compared to their chilled and frozen counterparts. Based on our recent projects, we’re also expecting to see a rise in artisan producers with national aspirations looking to achieve commercially viable shelf-lives, whilst still preserving the homemade qualities of their products. Due to rising factory space costs, the trend is moving towards versatile technology solutions that can adapt to different product types and packaging designs, maximising production efficiency within a limited footprint."

Bolstering our team with new talent including Projects Director Brian Meyer, Commercial Director Lewis Peasgood, Process Manager Hannah Parsons, and Marketing Executive Georgie Fenn, our prominent stand will be dressed to impress, showcasing innovative technology solutions from three of our global partners.

Roboqbo's universal processing system is a versatile and powerful tool that can be used to create a wide variety of products from pesto sauce and risotto, through to mascara and face cream. This compact solution can cook, cool, concentrate, knead, refine, cut, mix, homogenise and pulverise in one single unit, minimising production times and improving product quality and consistency.

Perfinox's innovative tiltable cooking solution is revolutionising production for both food and non-food applications. Designed to streamline the process of frying, cooking, and cooling all within a single unit, this versatile system is ideal for high-quality ready meal production. The game-changing tilting feature tackles a long-standing challenge by simplifying the transfer of highly viscous food products like pasta fillings and heavy pastes for further processing. For non-viscous applications, a built-in pumping solution ensures seamless handling.

Ideal for premium cosmetics and personal care brands, Mengibar’s multi-stream swirl fill technology combines precise control of multiple product flows with robotic handling of both product and bottle. This enables the creation of artistic, multi-coloured patterns in the final container.

Join us at Stand C30 from September 24-26 September at the NEC in Birmingham to explore how our innovative solutions can help you thrive in the ever-evolving manufacturing landscape.
