It is with huge sadness that we have to advise that Paul Jordan, Holmach’s Engineering Manager, passed away after a short illness on 11th June 2023.

Paul joined Holmach in 2010, having worked as an external contractor for 3 years prior to this and became the backstop for Holmach’s expanding retorting installations. He was a cornerstone of our business and a mischievous sprite in our team.

His expertise was widely appreciated by our customers and manufacturers. He was always willing to help and share his expert knowledge of Lagarde Autoclaves and other equipment that Holmach offers.

He had a wicked sense of humour, loved a pint and was always the Dick Dastardly of our annual go-kart challenge.

Paul was married to Sheena and leaves 5 children and many grandchildren and a menagerie of animals from Herman the Tortoise to his beloved dogs, cats, geese and chickens, he was never allowed the goat or the peacock though… He battled his sudden illness with great spirit until the end. We will all miss him greatly.
